Pang vs ‘Trekko’ & Falciroli vs Vas rumoured for CFC 12?

Following a short break, Cage Fighting Championships Australia will return on Friday 12 March. The show is rumoured to have two title fights with Adrian Pang (15-6) defending his Lightweight CFC title, taking on Bernardo ‘Trekko’ Magalhaes (8-1). Gustavo Falciroli (8-2) will be returning to take on undefeated Richard Vaculik (4-0) in a featherweight tile bout putting the top two fighters in the infinitemma (under 65kgs) rankings against each other.

Adrian Pang who is ranked at number two in the infinitemma fighter rankings at Lightweight, fought to a draw against South Korean fighter Nam Yui Chul on the Legends FC card in Hong Kong earlier this month. His rumoured opponent will be BJJ Black Belt, Bernardo ‘Trekko’ Magalhaes, who is ranked number three in the infinitemma rankings at lightweight. The fight will be a rematch after Magalhaes defeated Pang in November of 2008. Magalhaes went on to lose the title fight against Rob Hill in February 2009. Pang then defeated Rob Hill to take the title, and Magalhaes secured a second bite at the title belt when he won a split points decision over Hill in August, 2009 at CFC 10.

In the other rumoured fight, Falciroli from the Mach 1 gym in Perth is rumoured to be taking on big wave surfer, Richard ‘Vas’ Vaculik from the TP fight team in a fight that will be for the CFC Bantamweight Title. Falciroli will be looking to bounce back following a decision loss to Issei Tamura on the Shooto Revolutionary Exchanges 3 card held in Japan in November, 2009. Vaculik on the other hand, will be hoping to keep his unblemished record with this being his toughest test to date. With Falciroli ranked number one on the infinitemma Australian rankings at featherweight, and Vaculik ranked two, the winner will move in to the number one position. Infinitemma will post news once the bouts have been made official.
