Impact FC to Kick off in Brisbane in 5 Days
BEN MORTIMER WILL NOW TAKE ON KARO PARISYAN IN THE UPRISING 1 SERIES MEDIA RELEASE Monday 5th July 2010 Impact Fighting Championship (FC) will host it’s first fight in Australia this Saturday 10th July at Brisbane Entertainment Centre for The Uprising 1 event and then will head to Sydney on the 18th July to host The Uprising 2 event at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
Due to a training injury, Luis Dutra Jr will no longer be fighting in the Impact FC Uprising 1 event this week, he will be replaced with local Brisbane favourite, Ben ‘Knuckles 5 Percenter’ Mortimer to take on Karo Parisyan. Karo Parisyan who is dubbed ‘The Heat’ because of his aggressive style and who has always been at the top of the UFC Welterweight Championship division. Ben Mortimer is a local Brisbane MMA fighter from 5 Rings Dojo on the Gold Coast. International fighters arrive into Australia today will head into local gyms to undergo on-ground training before fight night.
