“The journey's coming to an end and at 40 years of age I can definitely feel it's getting that way. I just want to have that same feeling on February 21 as when I used to compete in the early days. I want to know that I can still do it and still feel the same things I did back then. That's all I ask for going forwards. I'm not looking to make any big plans or set a timetable out. I just want to take one fight at a time and see how much there is left.”

With both Haseman and Sinosic rumoured to be on a one-fight UFC contract and coming to the end of their careers, the loser of the fight could possibly be sent into retirement. For the winner, anything is possible though. No doubt, local promotions like Cage Fighting Championships Australia and Rize MMA, will be hoping to surf the UFC wave and would be interested in using the winner of Haseman vs Sinosic in a super-fight against a highly touted local or international opponent.
