Integrated Martial Arts protégé Tony Rossini (4-1), will make his debut for the Cage Fighting Championship organisation, when he takes on Jon Leven (5-8) at the upcoming CFC 12 event on Friday, 12 March 2010.
Jon Leven will come into the fight with a 1-1 record within the promotion, losing to Jesse Landry at CFC 5, before submitting kickboxer Chris Johnson at CFC 7. In his most recent fight, Leven lost against Daniel Digby at Rize 3 in September, 2009. Tony Rossini was starting to make a name for himself going undefeated in his first five fights defeating the likes of Chris Heilscher and Dan Hyatt before being upset by Dave Nicholls at Rize 3. He will be hoping to redeem himself when the two collide in March.
CFC 12 will hit the Hordern Pavilion, at Moore Park and will feature three title fights, as Bellator and CFC middleweight champion Hector Lombard returns to defend his title against Art Santore. CFC Lightweight champion Adrian Pang will be looking to defend his title against Bernardo Magalhaes, a fighter that walked away victorious in their first fight. The first and second ranked fighters in the Australian Infinitemma Featherweight rankings will battle it out to see who is the best featherweight in the country as Gustavo Falciroli takes on big-wave surfer Richie ‘Vas’ Vaculik. Infinitemma has learned that Steve Micallef (4-0) has had to withdraw from his Rize middleweight title fight against Ross Dallow at Rize MMA 4 . According to Rize promoter, Matt Cooper the injury suffered by Steve Micallef will have him out of action for a minimum of 6 months.
Stepping up to the plate will be Strike Force Auckland fighter Pat Crawley (5-2, pictured), who lost a close split-points decision to Steve Micallef at Rize 3 in December, 2009 in the semi-final stage of the Rize four-man middleweight tournament.
Rize MMA will for the first time be fought in a cage, and hits the Suncorp Piazza in Brisbane on Saturday, 27 March 2010.

A press release from Rize MMA, has announced that the Rize MMA 4 event, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, 20 March has been postponed a week to Saturday, 27 March due to unforeseen circumstances.
The event will feature three titles on the line with the finals of the three 4-man tournament occurring on the event which is scheduled at Suncorp Piazza in Brisbane. The lightweight title fight will have Rob Hill from Sydney taking on Daniel Hooker. At welterweight, in an all New Zealand match-up, number one ranked fighter in the New Zealand Infinitemma rankings Rod MacSwain takes on the number two ranked fighter, Daniel Digby for the Rize welterweight title. In a middleweight title fight, Ross Dallow will take on Steve Micallef.
The event will also be the debut of the Rize cage, with the promotion choosing to use a cage for future events.

Ryan Yanz will return to action at the Brace For War 4 event scheduled to happen at the Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre on 8 May, 2010 where he will be taking on Gokhan Turkyilmaz.
Both Yanz and Turkyilmaz appeared at the last Brace For War show in January, 2010 where Yanz defeated Ryan Byrne (see video) and Turyilmaz defeated Jay Cobain with both fights ending by TKO due to punches. Also on the card, Luke Hume will be taking on Nick Pudney and power-puncher Edwin Arana taking on a fighter to be announced.
After a sell-out show for the promotions first event in Townsville, the promoters have decided to postpone a return to Brisbane, in favour for another event in Townsville. Expect tickets to sell out for this one.

Veteran Australian MMA fighter, Peter Davis will return to MMA action where he will take on Chris Bridgewater in the main event of Underground Cage Fighting Series 4 at the USQ Clive Berghofer Recreation Centre this Friday night.
Davis who first contested his first MMA bout in November, 2001 will be returning to action for the first time since August, 2008 and will be hoping to get a win on his record, after losing to Stuart Ashby, Gavin Murie and Roy Luxton in his last three bouts. Davis actually has a win over his opponent’s brother in Roy Bridgewater who he defeated with a Guillotine Choke in August, 2002.
Chris Bridgewater will be having his third fight in just as many months, with his last fight occurring in Townsville in January where he suffered a loss to Thomas Manderson via Guillotine Choke on the Brace For War 3 card. Both fighters will be making their debut for the Underground MMA promotion.
In the semi-main event, VJ Chee from the Spirit MMA gym will take on Justin Behan from Kaichi MMA gym.
