http://www.excessiveforce.com.au have report that Xplosion Super Fight 19 is set to be held on the 8th August 2009 at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.
Gordon Graff has been confirmed to be fighting Api Hemara in a X-Rules bout at 85kg. 
Excessive Force spoke to Seng from Xplosion and he explained the X-Rules “X-RULES is designed to keep the fight as exciting as possible. It is probably the most gruelling test skill for the combat sports athlete because if your a striker you better hope you end it in the first or second round. And if your a grappler then you better hope your able to withstand the strikes of the first 2 rounds.”

The X-Rules are as follows:

Round 1 = Kick Boxing with knees, no elbows, no takedowns. 3 minutes

Round 2 = Shoot Boxing, Thai Boxing, use of elbows and any takedown, Fight gets stood back up as soon as someone has been taken down.  4 minutes

Round 3 = Full MMA rules complete with head stomps,soccer kicks and elbows. 5 minutes
The night will see action from Nathan ‘Carnage’ Corbett who has had won 44 out of his 47 fights of which 35 were knockouts.  Bela Gaal is also on the card.
Joey ‘Bam Bam’ Lee , female Muay Thai fighter from Hong Kong has also been confirmed. Joey has a professional record: 4 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw 1KO and amateur record: 12 wins, 5 loss, 2 draws

X-Rules fights on Xplosion shows are almost always the best MMA fights seen in Australia, year in, year out. The rule sets are certainly a bit odd, but they do seem to make for really entertaining fights.
