Hi,

I won, standing RNC after a good exchange of strikes throws and scrambles. Had a ton of fun, thanks Joe.

BTW is there any vid of the night available??

Regards,

Terry

Holy Shit!! What a night!!
Its Sunday evening atm, watching the footy and trying to recover from last night.  I am physically and mentally drained and think I might retire to the bottle. We will post full list of results soon.

Firstly and formost, I would personally like to thank all competitors and trainers for making yourselves available and making the night a fantastic event brinning MMA back to Toowoomba.  You ALL displayed perfect, unquestionable sportsmanship towards each other and made the night one to remember.  All through the night I was getting praising comments from the crowd on the fights, how tough the competition was and how there was no BS from any one.  BIG THANKS!!

Would like to especially thank all our guys from RINGS Toowoomba for your support and team work.  It gave Toowoomba a real taste of what Mixed Martial Arts team work and team support is all about. Well done team.

To our fight team - Josh, Jaron “The Wolfman”, “Spider” Jacob, “Kamikaze” Tyson (so proud, man) and our own Ong-Bak Dan Luker. Thanks guys, you did the whole club justice and positioned yourselves amongst the best of the up’n'comers.

Thanks again everyone and we will be in touch for the next one.

Regards, Bull

Missed this: Extra big thanks to young Ky Eather from 5Rings. Took the fight on literally 24hrs notice and came to fight, and I mean FIGHT. Kid is only 15 or 16 and looked like he’d been here in another life. Although he didn’t get the win, he is one to look out for in the future.  Well done to Roy for getting the kid prepared.  We were commenting in our corner as to how much he looked like a mini Roy!  wink The way he moved, the way he boxed, every thing!
Stick with it Ky, you were made for this sport.

Great gig guys, thanks for a great night. Took the Mrs and my son along and they had a great time. Good idea keeping the drinking up top.

Very impressed with Vince Perry, Shane and the Pumma boys after the Jade/Shane fight, very professional bunch.

Good work Jade, look forward to cornering you Tasi guys another time.

Cheers
MJ

i cant get any clear results from anyone yet..lol
i had a work function i couldnt get out of.
from what i heard, and the comments came from a guy who was drinking a lil that nite:
huge congrats to terry on debut, winning via RNC.
the tyson fight was awesome, with him locking off a few triangles before the guy driving through the ropes to get the stand up(within the rules). a majority decision draw.
will post more as i hear

WHAT A NIGHT !!!!

16 matches & and Extreme Boxing Demo that went off!!

Firstly I would like to thank all involved on the night – all the officials and volunteers, also for the support given by the fighters, trainers and their respective clubs. A special thanks must go to Jade coming all the way from Tasmania, where he is trying hard to get MMA off the ground.

The full results will be up in the next couple of days

Unfortunately with the action happening thick and fast and the pressure was on, a mistake was made. Pete Hickmott asked the question to-day about the match between Tyson Kroehn and Luke Marrable (5 Rings Gold Coast), where at the time it was seen that Luke won on a points decision. (by the way he took this match at the last min.)

After checking all the judges score cards, I have found there was a mistake made & found the fight should have been called a drawer. After speaking to Pete & Roy Luxton it was agreed that the result of this bout would be officially changed to a DRAWER apologies to Tyson & Rings Network (I would like to pay special thanks to Roy & Pete for their attitudes on this matter and both showing good sportsmanship). On behalf of KOTM Well done to both Tyson and Luke.

Regards

Joe Perry
KOTM work very hard for these sort of mistakes not to be made & After 12 fight nights this is the 1st time this type has occurred.

Thanks everyone for the support and kind words would like to thank Joe and Pete for putting on such a great fight nite. Had a great time in the ring and will definately be back. Would like to thank jade for a hard fight god he was tough!! I believe the second round should have been 10-8 to him but im not the judge so i cant change the result. Also thanks for the kind words about PUMMAS sportsmanship and professionalism. These qualities start from the ground up and Vinces attitude and proffesionalism definately rub off on us fighters on top of his world class coaching and experience. Would love to fight Jade again maybe at KOTM 13????

Thats the Go, both boys fought like seasoned pro’s and no-one deserved to lose, like to see a rematch at KOTM 13!! I Remember a few results- Alex Gatti beat Paul Beckman(Submission) KOTM middleweight title, Joe Gatti beat some hardnut from Rockhard, Helen won the Girlfight (both girls punched the piss out of each other), Lenny Kent beat Russell via stoppage, Shano(PUMMA) and Jade(Tassy) fought to a draw but in a great show of sportmanship by Vince Perry(PUMMA), Jade was declared the winner(by Vince and Shane).
