Knees Of Fury 24 Event Review

Saturday night was another big night of fights from Sheppster Promotions, at Knees Of Fury 24. The first show of 2009 certainly went off with a bang. The biggest show in the history of the event, with the best fighters in South Australia on it. There were 17 tightly contested bouts, the main card comprising the 8 biggest fights. In a true testament to the quality of the production, Fox Sports and commentator Mark Castagnini were once again in attendance to record the event for Pay TV. The event production continued shine, with fighters coming out to nicely presented backdrops, profiles up on the massive big-screen, light-shows, smoke machines and of course later in the night, pyrotechnics displays.

Official CFC 7 Results

Cage Fighting Championships held another successful promotion on Friday night in Sydney, NSW. In the main event, Hector Lombard took on American Ron Verdadero and Rob Hill took on Bernardo Trekko for the Lightweight Title.

Cage Fighting Championships 7 Unofficial Results

Australia's leading MMA promotion, Cage Fighting Championships returned to big top last night to hold their 7th show. In the main event, Sydney Olympian Hector Lombard took on American Ron Verdadero (4-6) and as many people predicted, Hector demolished his opponent via TKO from strikes. In the semi-main event, Rob Hill became the Lightweight title holder with a second round stoppage over Bernardo Trekko. Adrian Pang, Jon Leven and Richard Vaculik were all victorious on the night as well.

Knees Of Fury 24 Set To Rock Adelaide This Weekend

The card is complete, the fighters have finished training & the big show is about to get underway. The final steps have been put in motion to make this weekend's Knees Of Fury the biggest and best kickboxing event, ever seen in South Australia. Sheppster Promotions has brought in the best fighters from around the country, and world, to face off against South Australia's best Muaythai Kickboxer's. World champion fighter and trainer John Wayne Parr, has Australian and International Heavyweight champion Thor Hoopman all set to rock out the main event of this weekend's Knees Of Fury. Thor will be taking on New Zealand slugger Kaota Puna, in what promises to be an epic throwdown. Co-featuring on the main card will be the young South Australian rising stars, Kym 'The Technician' Johnson and Gary Williams, along with veteran ISKA champion, Charles 'The Heat' August. These three stars from South Australia will be fighting international veterans from New Zealand, Joshua Tai and Shannon Foreman, along with rising Western Australian fighter, Harald Olsen.
