Proud Warrior Productions is back with another exciting instalment of Martial Arts action at Sharks Leagues Club, Cronulla. On November 13 the warriors will once again be ready to rumble, with some of Australia’s finest Mixed Martial Arts and Kickboxing fighters set to meet in the ring for PWP2.

This highly anticipated event will be filmed in high definition and broadcast on free-to-air sports channel 1HD.  Along with our awesome headline bout of Big Jim Yorke v Mike Martelle, we have locked in Bernardo Treko Magalhaes v Johnavan Visante(Hawaii) and Manuel Chalate Rodriguez v Ben Alloway and Jacob O'connell v Corey Nelson

Other exciting match-ups are in the works, including the return of Heath McManus to the arena.

Nitro MMA is holding its first MMA event in Brisbane tonight and the show will feature the return of Daniel Lima who is returning after an extended layoff, his opponent will be tough Japanese fighter  Seiji Oz Otsuka. Jai Bradney will also be taking on a well known Japanese opponent Daisuke Nakamura in what looks to be a very exciting show.

Carl Toomey who is also coming off a long layoff was supposed to take on James Thompson but due to injury his opponent has changed to Paul Abdul-Rahman. Click full story to see the updated fightcard.

TUFFA is heading to Campbelltown for its 7th show this Saturday night, the show will feature some of the up and coming fighters in NSW and also will also see some titles on the line. Mike Anderson from TP Fight Gym the current 70kg title holder will take on Jacob Pettit from Magnus MMA. Steve Cook form GMMA the current 84kg title holder will take on Daniel Kerr from Xtreme Muay Thai and Glen Taylor-Smith from MAD the current 65kg Title Holder will take on Ben Hansen from Magnus MMA.

Melbourne Martial Arts Brute Force 12 - ‘It’s Time’ will take place on 27th August in Melbourne, the show ill feature a mix of Kickboxing and MMA. There are 5 MMA bouts confirmed, with fighters from Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.

Peter Aberdeen from New Zealand will take on Michael Van Der Vlist from Elite Fight Gym in Sydney in a light heavyweight bout. Also Leigh Allwood from Melbourne martial Arts will take on another local fighter Stephen Pebbles from Team Nemesis in what looks to be an exciting bout.

Legend returns to Hong Kong on September 24 with Legend Fighting Championship 3: Yang vs. Fitial. This Mixed Martial Arts tournament will take place in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center (HKCEC) in Wan Chai, and will be headlined by two of the biggest and toughest fighters in the Asia-Pacific in Legend’s 120-kilogram Heavyweight division: Yang Hae Jun and Kelvin Fitial.

Undefeated Korean Heavyweight champion Yang Hae Jun, with five first-round knockout wins, will take on heavy-handed Kelvin “The Big Hit” Fitial of the Northern Mariana Islands, gold medal winner in both the CNMI and Guam Grappling Championships. Both men will be seeking victory by knockout, so fans should expect fireworks when two of the Asia-Pacific’s best Heavyweights step into the ring.

Legend 3 will feature eight additional action-packed fights between Asia-Pacific’s national champions. Coming off victories at Legend 1 and 2, Korea’s #1 welterweight Bae Myung Ho returns to the ring to take on Brazilian Jiujitsu black belt and Muay Thai champion Adam Shahir Kayoom of Malaysia. And recent Australian welterweight champion Justin Murray makes his Legend debut against Korean submission specialist Kim Hoon. The winners of these two bouts will return to face each other for Legend’s inaugural Welterweight Championship at Legend Fighting Championship 4.

FILA held another tournament in Illawarra on the weekend which included Wrestling, Grappling and Pankration. The tournament was a huge success with a lot of entries in all divisions. They have created two highlight clips from the day, 1 for the Pankration and 1 for the Grappling.

Deney Hayward from Shuriken on the North Shore will take on Kate Aroa for the ICNZ womans title on September 25th in what should be a very exciting fight. Deney is coming off a win over Tash Chambers on ICNZ and Kate off a win over Angela Parr in Australia.
